The State Department, acting at the request of the White House, is expected to send Congress a letter on Monday about the matter, the US-Cuba Business Council tells CNN.
The Trump administration will allow Americans who have claims to property or assets in Cuba to bring lawsuits in US District Courts against companies and individuals if they haven't received payment from the government of Cuba or the parties using the property or asset.
