The "Avengers: Endgame" star recently attended his 20th high school reunion in Sudbury near Boston and stayed true to his "just a regular guy" image.
Evans was photographed wearing a name tag that read simply "Chris."
Photos online show classmates from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School looking pretty happy about him making the scene.
"Chris Evans went to his 20 year high school reunion and I'm not sure if my favorite accessory is the cardigan, the beard or the name tag," #OscarsSoWhite creator April Reign tweeted. "This is why he's the Best Chris. We are all the lady on the right."
Boston.com reported that Evans sent a last-minute RSVP that he would attend the gathering at Conrad's Restaurant.
Evans was in Boston filming his latest project, the Apple TV+ limited series "Defending Jacob."
"Avengers: Endgame" continues to dominate the domestic box office, winning for the third weekend in a row by bringing in an estimated $63.1 million in North America.
It's now the second-highest grossing film of all time, behind 2009's "Avatar."
