Thinking of using an Uber today? That might be difficult, depending on where you are.
Uber drivers worlwide are on strike -- and urging passengers to boycott the app.
Here's where, and in some cases when, the strikes are happening:
- London: From 7 am local time until 4 pm.
- New York City: There is a two-hour strike planned for the morning commute.
- California: In San Diego and Los Angeles, drivers are slated to cease working for 24 hours.
- Atlanta: Workers plan to log off for 12 hours.
In addition to powering off their apps, drivers will hold rallies held in strategic places, such as outside local Uber offices.
