Democratic voter panel: Biden's 'time is done'

"How many of you would like to see Joe Biden get in? Show of hands," CNN's Alisyn Camerota asked the panel of six Democrats, selected from Ohio, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, on "New Day" Tuesday morning.
No one raised their hands.
"His time is done," said Carol Evans, one of the panelists.
"To be honest, Sen. Biden comes from kind of the good-old-boy politics of the past," added another panelist, Russell Banks.
"I don't think Joe Biden represents that new thing that we need," a third panelist, Owen Evans, said. "We need a new economy, we need new politics and we need someone different."
A recent CNN poll, however, indicates six in 10 Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters say Biden should make a run for the White House. The same polling suggests half of all Americans would be at least somewhat likely to back him should he run.
Biden said last week that his family is on board with a 2020 run and he's "very close" to making a decision.
The same group of panelists, who all said they supported Clinton in her 2016 bid for the presidency, admonishes her to stay away from the campaign trail when asked by Camerota, "Does Hillary have a role in 2020?"
"I love you, Hillary ... but stay away," said Christian Tamte, another one of the panelists. "We are so divided right now that anything that has 'Hillary' on it is automatically going to separate us again."
Clinton, for her part, said Monday she will not run for president in 2020 but will continue to speak out about politics, saying, "I'm not going anywhere."
"I'm not running, but I'm going to keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe," the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee told CNN affiliate News 12 Westchester.
